This page explains the steps for creating an image URL that you can use to embed an image in a web page/or a connected document.

  1. Locate the image on your Google Drive
  2. Right Click on the image and select Share
  3. Click on Advanced
  4. Ensure access is set to 'Public on the web - 'Anyone on the Internet can find and view'
  5. Copy part of the string of characters from 'Link to share'. That is, everything between 'file/d/' and '/view?'
  6. 
